My name is Jordan Hodges and Gavin Guthrie is my Co-Host. We own a Mortgage Brokerage in Mesa, AZ called The Mortgage Collective. We are building a Mortgage company with $100 Million in funded loans in the next 24 months, and plan to document exactly how we got there. Fed Day - June 2023 Mortgage Edition
The Fed meeting today was a dud! We got what we wanted with a FED Pause on the rate hikes, however, Chairman Powell said that two more rate hikes are likely this year! With the inflation data dropping down to 4.0% most economist felt like that was sufficient and proof the hikes have done what was intended and there should not be any further hikes needed. Gavin and Jordan discuss the fed decision and outlook for mortgage rates in 2023.
